Charla has been working exclusively with adult males and females who have sexually offended for 21 years. Charla is one of the owners of SOS and is the Program/Clinical Director. She has had her approved full operating treatment provider and evaluator status from the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board for 20 years. Charla believes all people should be treated with respect and carries this perspective into her work with this population.

Nicole Pyfer, MA, LPCC

SOMB Associate-Level Treatment Provider

Nicole graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver in May 2019 with a Master of Arts in Counseling with a focus in Clinical Mental Health. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Nicole completed her internship with SOS and was hired after completing her graduate program. Prior to working with SOS, Nicole spent five years working with survivors of sexual violence at The Blue Bench. Nicole works with clients through a systems perspective and brings awareness to behavioral and emotional patterns that formed during childhood and continue to negatively impact clients in adulthood. She is currently working toward licensure as an LPC.

Susan Morris, MA, LAC

Susan worked in sex offense specific treatment from 2000 to 2004 and 2013 to the present. She is listed with the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board as an Associate Level Provider and Evaluator. Susan holds a Clinical Psychology master’s degree from the University of Colorado Denver and has been a Licensed Addiction Counselor since 2006, with training in offender and offense specific substance use disorders counseling.

Terry Taylor, MA, LPC

Terry received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in 2000 and began working with children who were victims of sexual abuse and trauma. She has been working with the sex offender population for thirteen years as a treatment provider and evaluator and is a Full Operating Level Treatment Provider and Evaluator. In addition, she continues to work with adults and children who have experienced sexual abuse and trauma and she is trained in EMDR (Level II).

Reyna Gutierrez, MA

Reyna is an Associate Level Treatment Provider for adults who have sexually offended. Reyna has provided therapeutic services within the criminal justice field for over 10 years. Working alongside a multitude of populations, Reyna has consulted, coached and worked within the governmental, educational, corporate, non-profit and private sectors. Reyna believes that incorporating a professional approach into her work, this will elevate the positive potential of everyone in our community.

Joy Fox, Psy.D., LPCC

Joy has been working with sex offenders since the summer of 2015 as a SOMB Approved Associate Level Provider and Evaluator. Prior to that she served the sex offender pre-sentence population in her private practice for two years. Her specialty is in administering, scoring and writing evaluations, including those for Adult Attention Deficient (ADD) disorders, intellectual testing (including learning disorders), and memory disorders. She is also able to provide a complete neuropsychological assessment battery.

Jacenta Irlanda, MA, LPC, ATR

Jacenta graduated from Naropa University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Transpersonal Art Therapy in 2017. She completed her internship at SOS and was hired on to continue working with adult males who have sexually offended. Before coming to SOS she worked with adolescents, children and families in crisis in addition to attending multiple trainings around trauma work and suicide ideation. Jacenta works to bring a new treatment modality of art therapy to the cognitive behavior treatment structure of SOS. She is currently an SOMB Associate Level Approved Treatment Provider.

Georgie Anderson, MA, LPCC

Georgie graduated from Regis University in December of 2021 with a Master of Clinical Counseling. Georgie’s Associate Degree is in Criminal Justice. During those studies, she recognized an interest in mental health and how necessary it is in the Criminal Justice field. Georgie completed both Practicum and Internship with SOS prior to being hired as a therapist. She is currently working towards licensure as an LPC. She approaches therapy through an existential and holistic perspective by viewing the client as a whole person, rather than just one area of their life. She aims to help clients find a sense of meaning in life and foster personal responsibility for their decision-making.
